October 2016 - Matt joined the company of Village Theatre's production of Singing in the Rain in the role of Sid Phillips.
October 2016 - Matt directed a concert production of Shenandoah at ACT Theatre, produced by Showtunes Theatre company as part of the ACTLab program. This concert featured, for the first time it's believed and with permission of the show's creators, a woman playing the classic role of Charlie Anderson.
September 2016 - For the second year in a row, Matt was nominated for "Best Voiceover of Audiobooks for Children Ages 3-12" by the national SOVAS Voice Arts Awards for his work on Jeff Madison and the Curse of Drakwood Forest by Bernice Fischer.
July 2016 - Matt got to play his dream role of Harold Hill in the Music Man at Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre.
"For all the good supporting performances, the show rests squarely on Wolfe’s shoulders, and he’s up to the task. His Harold Hill is a charmer, with a quick smile and a quicker tongue."
May 2016 - Matt was thrilled to return to Bigfork Summer Playhouse to direct their production of 42nd Street.
February 2016 - Matt opened as "Sam Byck" in the ACT Theatre/5th Avenue Theatre co-production of Sondheim's Assassins to strong reviews.
"Matthew Wolfe, an ace old-style song and dance man is nearly unrecognizable assuming the role of Samuel Byck...Wolfe nails Byck's two substantial monologues veering from the oddly comic to pathetic to chilling with smooth precision."
December 2015 - The production of Legally Blonde Matt directed was listed in the top ten of Seattle theatre productions in 2015 by Jetspace Magazine.
September 2015 - Matt has just been announced as the next Artistic Director of Showtunes Theatre Company, following gratefully in the steps of Broadway legend Martin Charnin.

March 2015 - Matt is grateful to return to the role he originated as the Bunny in Seattle Children's Theatre's Goodnight Moon. As rehearsals take place, he has the privilege of project managing the implementation of a new program at SCT for children with sensory needs.

Easter Mysteries is a contemporary oratorio written by John O'Boyle, producer of Matilda and Christopher Durang's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike.

Gumbo is a musical based on the myth of Orpheus set during Hurricane Katrina -written by Christina Quintana and Brett Macias.

Tilly is a children's book written by Molly Shannon, now turned into a funny and heartfelt musical by Jeremy Dobrish and Drew Fornarola.
In February 2013, I will appear in two exciting projects in NYC!
The first is Portraits is a music theatre lab produced by Prospect Theatre where I play roles in 8 different, mini-musicals. www.prospecttheatre.org
The second project is with the TRU Voices Reading series where I'll play several roles in a reading of the new show My Life Is a Musical by Adam Overett.
In November 2012, I was thrilled to make my Broadway debut in the Original Cast of Scandalous. I play various roles in the ensemble and understudy George Hearn in the roles of "James Kennedy" and "Brother Bob".
